my grandparents are, simply put, the best grandparents ever! they're getting more frail and weary as the days pass by, but my grandparents aren't just any grandparents. they still maintain their awesome positive view to life and no matter what, they never cease to pour out that warm fuzzy goodness, that is distinctly their own, to their children and their grandchildren. they are super-grandparents I tell you! no less. I am very proud to call them my own. my deepest wish is for them to live forever.

I love being naive and ignorant but i don't think it works for me anymore, sadly.

"you will never know how much you love someone until the day you lose them forever"

sounds like some old cliche dun' it? my friend's grandma died the other day, and she's travelling tmr to shanghai for her funeral. that's the cold truth. my heart really goes out to her. hearing such news has made me freeze and think. I am so worried about my own grandparents. it makes me feel that I have to make the most of my time with them. I love them so much and the day that they pass away will be the day that, I know, I will be missing a large part of myself.

my grandparents will live forever, and as will your grandmother my dear friend . uno what I heard? when grandparents pass away, they turn into the stars that smile down upon us from the night sky. there they stay, still pouring their warm fuzzy goodness, not only to their children and their grandchildren, but throughout the whole universe also.

LOL my gramps just told me to go to sleep and I've decided that I will listen to him tonight.

I nearly lost my gramps twice. It was so heartwrenching to hear his organs were failing along with everything else and that he wouldn't make it through the night. You feel totally powerless. This has happened twice and so I never take my gramps for granted, never. It hurts to see that alot of family have forgotten how close he came to death twice. They don't visit him much anymore. I love him so much and I agree that grandparents or family for that matter, once they're gone, a large part of you fades away.
